![]() Also, after being cooped up for all of 2020, Kelli wanted a way to get people out and physically exploring the city she’s come to love. Inspired by the books she loved as a kid, Kelli Trapnell wanted to create a choose your own adventure-style map of Albuquerque to celebrate the wonder of discovering a new city, to play around with genre conventions, and just because she thought it would be pretty damn fun. You can often find Hannah and her wife, Kate, walking their dog, Cowgirl, on the Bosque trail, or having a beer downtown with Kelli and Sarah. Her company, The Cannabis Supply Store, or TCSS, aims to help provide budding growers of medical cannabis with the supplies and know-how they need to keep their plants alive. Hannah has designed brand identities for start-ups and companies all over the country, from the local Paa-Ko Country Club to a motorcycle lifestyle brand called Easy Riders to a public health app called Safely and more. Hannah worked closely with Kelli to develop the concept of the Lockpicking Map, from inception to installation, and her gorgeous woodworking skills and wood burning abilities help lend a treasure-hunt feel to the project. ![]() Her love for the Bosque and for narrative storytelling in a visual medium are the roots of her involvement in this project. Hannah Reiter is a woodworker and graphic designer from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Compass Roses involved 30 local artists (including Kelli’s fiancee, comedian Sarah Kennedy,) each of whom contributed their own map of Albuquerque, imagined or real, to be showcased in an exhibition at the South Broadway Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from April 22nd–May 24th, 2021.
